Hello everyone, sorry if you did not see any comment from my side lately, but aside some family business that I had to take care in Switzerland  I have also broken my Achilles tendon ( Aaaa this ancient Greek) this blocking me in bed or in my room for quite some time. This for the great pleasure of my palate, and yes  for those who wonder I have  been served some amazing food from the  Malinowa restaurant during my first period of convalescence (be jealous hehehehe) .
I also like to point out that Ato Sushi served me quite happily on their only tiny outside table, has I was in my wheelchair, and as usual their service was very very friendly.
I do thanks all of those who have comment on my blog, they are always welcomed.
I promises , from next week i will start again testing and writing about the restaurants in Lodz.
In the mean time have a nice weekend

Ato Sushi

What can I say more then I already said in the past, aside the fact that the food is extremely well prepared across the board and that everything I have taken up to date is absolutely wonderful I should also congratulate the Head Chef for preparing some astonishing surprise sushi/sashimi plates. As per the service is still good even when under stress, one may think that all is honky dory with my review....and yes it is one of my top 5 Restaurant in Lodz, ...BUT there is a BUT...sadly they have just made me mad once..hehehehe ...it happens also at Ato Sushi, they sold out my preferred Sake - a bottle that I did ask to keep for me at least 10 time and they promised and confirmed to do so, but, as we know there is always a but, when I asked for my bottle guess what..it was not there and gone...yes one little black spot (one needs to find something - if not what one should say at the end).

My review is simple:  a upgrade for the food to the maximum level, as per the service and atmosphere unchanged (don't forget my bottle next time :-) ) ; and a extra start for food/price/quality

Tokyo Sushi

Well, what can I say, still a good casual Sushi Bar, with a friendly atmosphere.

So if you feel like having a relaxed and casual drink and dinner around a Sushi bar table I still would recommend Tokyo Sushi, it is the place to go, the pricing is more then fair and the food and service are good.

Geisha Sushi 

The Restaurant just does Sushi and Sashimi plates, they do them well but the service is quite poor - I am sorry to say this- it is almost if you are disturbing them - maybe it was a bad day, maybe I was just tired, but this was the impression we all had. So I will  grade the Restaurant with reservation and will go again just to make sure of my feelings on their service and food. 

One think is for sure, they are slightly overpriced for what they deliver, and just this should make you think twice before going there.

I have just finished doing a full round of reviews plus visited a few new restaurants.
All will be said in the next two days, couple of downgrade a couple of upgrade and one under review...so enjoy the review in the next two days.

Hot spoon and Ato Sushi on watch

Two Restaurant on watch, I revisited Hor Spoon and Ato Sushi and here are my new comments:

Hot Spoon Manufaktura possible down grade to 3 star for food:

Slightly disappointed from my original visits and comments, it seems, sadly, that the sparkle is slowly fading away. The food was still good but, some how, the taste was getting blander and more homogeneous through out the plates. I must say that  I was taken aback and surprised as I remember my happiness to finally have found some real Thai taste, now not so sure anymore.  I do hope it was only a bad day but if it was not I am forced to review my original comments. Service still great - that saved the evening.

Ato Sushi in for a possible 6 star across the board:

I can Only say positive thinks bout it, I would highly recommend office outing there to, we had ours and I must say it was great, everyone was satisfied even those who do not eat sushi or sashimi. The Service was spot on and friendly. The food could not have been better.

Yes it still is in my top 5 Restaurant of Lodz, keep up the good work .

I am frankly considering putting a 6 star across if the all package stays as high as it is now.

阿東寿司で素敵な食べ物, hehehe, now for all of us who do not speak nor read Japanese, this should say great food at Ato Sushi...well ----  yes it is ----

When you walk in you may feel the place is a mixture of fusion of styles, between the trandy, casual and arty - the tables are slightly close to each others but do not get bother by it, The food is impeccable, it is extremely good and to some extent, depending on the night, exceptional.  

The service is very friendly and professional even if you are served by the new waiter or waitress or even the new Sushi cook or his assistant.
The kitchen may have some bad days, but mostly even when under pressure because the place is full they do perform as one expect they should, and if they don't they do apologize to you in their own ways,  which makes you feel that they do really care about you. The hot food is also well done and prepared. The presentation of the Sushi, Sashimi and warm plates are good and most of the time above good.

The choices of Thèe and Sake is also great, giving you that extra flavor that most other Japanese restaurant, excluding a couple,  can not give you.

For some unspecific reason some time (rarely but they do happen) thinks for one reason or another are not up to the standard you expect or you may get seriously disappointed or nervous about what you have in front of you, well been a long term client I can tell you this moments are rare and in fact if they happen when you are there and by any chance they do not realize it, give them another chance. I have and am impressed by the continuity of the quality that has been kept by the team working there in the last 12 month.
By the way it is a Family friendly restaurant, so you have no excuse not to go, get your boy or girl - children are welcomed as adults :-) - and enjoy the lunch or/and  dinner.
